Rose Josephine Raimondi, born 1928, died peacefully at home on November 26, 2018.  She was born in Yonkers, New York to Linda and Alfonso D’ Avanzo, the only sister of three brothers whom she adored.  Rose spent most of her life in New York, where as a school girl, she met the love of her life Frank Raimondi.  They married in 1951 and until the day she died, her thoughts were always of him.  Rose worked as a bilingual secretary both at American Cyanamid in Rockerfeller Center and Pan American Union in Washington, DC.  She also worked at Arlo Industry in Peekskill, New York while raising a family with Frank.  Her four daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren were always her pride and joy.

Throughout her life she volunteered at hospitals, knitted blankets for infants and the elderly, and crocheted hats for cancer patients. Rose helped anyone who needed her. She loved life and enjoyed Bible studies, knitting and crocheting and socializing with her friends at the Christian Life Center and Luther House. Her beautiful smile and warm caring nature will be greatly missed by her many friends and family.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years Frank Raimondi; her daughters: Marguerite Raimondi Scott, Andrea Marlowe (spouse Cliff), Michele Raimondi (spouse Diane), and Katherine Wassil (spouse Paul).  Also survived by her grandchildren:  Megan and Michele Wassil, Elisabeth Van Etten (spouse Nathan)and great grandchildren; Evelyn and Richard Van Etten.

A Mass and Christian burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Oxford, PA on Friday November 30.  Friends may pay their respects at 10am -11am followed by Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to American
 Cancer Society.
