John A. Labosky, 80, of Oxford PA (formerly of Sabinsville PA) passed away Monday December 24, 2018. John was the loving and devoted husband of Marcella (nee McPeak) for 58 years. John is survived by his wife “Mickey,” and his seven children. Three sons: John (Donna) Labosky, Tom (Monica) Labosky, Vince (Kim) Labosky and four daughters: Jo (Jim) Pustizzi, MaryBeth (Paul) Hood, Michelle Labosky, Helen (Geoff) Mazur. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. John / Dad / Pop-Pop will be fondly remembered as an avid outdoorsman and hunter. He was a loving husband and father. John was generous in his family life and parish life, with both his time and treasures. When he knew what was right he didn't back down and was always led by the Truth. Visitation will be held at Ruffenach Funeral Home, 224 Penn Ave Oxford PA 19363 on Sunday, December 30 from 6-8pm. Mass of Christian burial will be at Sacred Heart Parish, 203 Church St. Oxford PA 19363, on Monday December 31 at 10am. Interment at All Souls Cemetery 3215 Manor Rd. Coatesville PA 19320. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to: The Pro Life Union of Greater Philadelphia, 88 Pennsylvania Ave. Oreland PA 19075.

Dear Mickey and family,

It is with great sorrow that we learn of John's passing. Please know that our prayers are with you. He was a great person and we will miss him. He is with out Lord in Heaven.

My brother, John, was a fine man who endured great challenges in his life.
I believe he accepted all of those challenges with Godspeed.
His faith gave him the endurance.
Now we can all know and we can rest assured that our JOHN rests in peace.
