           Rosemary M. (nee Volpe) Ingenito, age 93 of Maris Grove, PA went home to be with the Lord on April 18, 2020 at Maris Grove, Glen Mills PA where she had resided for the last 10 years, previously residing in Glenolden, PA.   Rosemary was predeceased by her beloved husband Francis P. Ingenito in 1986.  


            Born June 22, 1926, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Rose (Capelli) Volpe.  She attended John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls’ High School in Philadelphia.


             Before retiring Rosemary worked for General Electric and then Holiday Inn in Philadelphia.  Her favorite times were spending time with her family and friends.  She always had a smile on her face, and will always be remembered wearing her adorable outfits and matching jewelry. She loved all her nieces and nephews like they were her own.


          Rosemary is survived by her sister Sr. Teresa Volpe IHM, Camilla Hall, Immaculata, PA; nieces and nephews, Joseph M. Volpe, Jr. (Christine); Donna Volpe Taggart (Jack); Shelly Geib (Gary); Tina Moyer (Craig); Ann Largent (Wayne); Louis J. Ingenito, Jr.; Michael Mitchell (Mary); Kevin Mitchell (Barbara); Gregory Mitchell (Barbara); Brian Mitchell (Cheryl) and Francis Mitchell.  She is also survived by 18 great nieces and nephews; 34 great, great nieces and nephews; and 5 great, great, great nieces and nephews.


           In addition to her parents and husband, Rosemary was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law Joseph M Volpe, Sr. and Christina (Schiavo) Volpe; her sister Sr. Miriam Michael, IHM, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Louis J. and Virginia Ingenito; her sister-in-law and brother -in-law Theresa and Victor Hibbs; her sister in-law and brother-in-law Dolores (Ronnie) Mitchell; and nephew Thomas Mitchell.


           Relatives and Friends are invited to a Visitation 9-10am Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the Ruffenach Funeral Home, 4900 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30am at St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Camilla Hall – Sister Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (www.camillahall.org); Willow Tree Hospice (www.willowtreehospice.com) and St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Glen Mills, PA (staparish@staglenmills.org).
