1927 - 2020




            Mae C. Nolan, age 93 of Haverford, PA, formerly of Drexel Hill, PA passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020.  She was the wife of the late John J. Nolan with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.  Born in Philadelphia to the late Virginia Brough Hubert and the late John Hubert, sister to the late Dorothy Candler of Florida and the late Virginia O’Donnell of Chester Springs, PA.   She is survived by daughters Carol Gillespie (Mike) of Ardmore, PA, Kathy Roberge (Dave) of Payson, AZ, Sally Campitelli (Ed) of Glen Mills, PA, Karen Nolan of Taylor, PA, Joan Nolan of Wynnewood, PA.  Also survived by son John C. Nolan of Wynnewood PA and predeceased by son Robert Nolan.  Loving grandmother to Michael, Sean (Sue), Jennifer, Daniel (Laura), Brian (Tyler), Christina and Edward(Becki) as well as great-grandmother to Madeline, Abigail, Grace, Tess, Nick, Tommy, Kailyn, Evangeline, Colin, Greyson, Siena, Melissa (Ben), Kyra and Stephanie.  Also survived by dear friends Eve Reuther of Taylor, PA whom she often referred to as her adopted daughter and Martha Panos of Drexel Hill, PA.  


            Mae enjoyed being a homemaker, celebrating the holidays, which she always made extra-special and cherished time spent with family and friends.  A favorite pastime was watching the Lawrence Welk Show every Saturday night.


            A private burial for family is planned.  A Celebration of Life Mass will be scheduled at a later date for all to attend.  In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Mae’s name to the ALS Association at www.alsa.org.

Mom, I’m devastated you passed. You were the best Mom ever and always put us first. You were a loving MomMom and Great MomMom. You had a good life and you and Daddy gave us a wonderful life. I know you’re now with Daddy and Bob and your family. Praying you’re at peace, you deserve only that.

I’ll never stop missing you.

Missing you more each day. You left a huge void that no one could fill. Thanks for being the best Mom ever. You and Daddy gave us kids a wonderful life.
No matter the ages we become it’s never enough. Knowing you’re with Daddy and Bob comforts me.
