     Robert A. Carreon age 72, of Lima, Pennsylvania formerly of New York City, New York, died peacefully November 9, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia Robert attended Bishop Newman High School. At the young age of 18 Robert set off to New York city to follow his dream and make a name for himself. He attended The Parsons School of Design where in 1967 he was awarded the June Francis Award for outstanding achievement in Design. Robert was a long-time employee of Time Warner where his responsibilities varied from consumer marketing and special events to building management and office operations for Sports Illustrated. Before departing from Time Warner Robert worked closely with senior management to establish OUT and was the recipient of the 2003 GLADD Fairness Award. In 2001 Robert returned to his true love the theatre, to produce and mentor. Robert was particularly proud of his work with emerging talent, producers, playwrights and creatives on both side of the Atlantics. He was committed to producing thought provoking theatrical experiences and quality entertainment. Robert gave so much of himself, not only to the theater community but his neighboring community throughout. Robert was a gift to humanity in so many ways, loved by so many in many ways, and will be missed by many worldwide in so many ways. 

      Robert is survived by his sister Dorothy(nee Carreon) McGinnis, his four nieces, Bernadette(nee McGinnis) Salla, Mary McGinnis, Patricia(nee McGinnis) Gaynor, Stephanie McGinnis and Many loved ones from New York that he considered Family.

     Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation 9:30am Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026, where his Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30am. Robert's Funeral Mass will be live streamed on St. Dorothy's (Drexel Hill) YouTube.
