Melissa D. (Lilly) Potter

Melissa Dawn Potter, age 55, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at her
home in Calora, Maryland. She was born April 7, 1968, in Michigan, to Vincient and
Twylla Lilly. Melissa and Jack Potter happily shared 32 years of marriage together. She
worked as a school bus driver for nearly 15 years displaying a love for being around
children. Melissa truly loved and lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures;
spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Melissa had
an uncanny ability to provide unconditional love and support to those around her. She is
survived by her husband, Jack; five children Joshua, Justin, Twylla, Jonathan, and Sarah;
father Vincent; brother Steve and sister Heather; grandchildren Gemma, Jaxson, and
granddaughter on the way; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins. Melissa is
proceeded in death by her mother Twylla Lilly. Family, friends, and others whose lives
Melissa touched are invited to Christ Community Fellowship, 356 Chatham Rd, West
Grove, Pa, viewing beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday March 9, 2024, to reminisce, grieve,
support each other.
In lieu of flowers, there will be a donation box available at the funeral to assist Jack and
his family with expenses.
