1943 - 2025

Adele J. Balestra (nee DeMaio), age 82, died peacefully August 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband Nick Balestra,  and  parents the late Daniel and Rita (nee Sellite) DeMaio. She is survived by her loving sons Nicky Balestra and Kenny (Debbie) Balestra. Also survived by grandchildren Nicky (Stephanie), Krista, Natalie, Nicolette. 

Adele was born in Philadelphia and was raised in West Philadelphia and went to Our Lady of Angels elementary school and West Catholic high school. 

Adele enjoyed being around family, whether it be in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania or Wildwood, New Jersey. Adele loved dogs and left behind Sarge, her last furry friend. 

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to Providence Animal Rescue.
