 1933 – 2026

Agnes A. Burns, of Drexel Hill died peacefully April 27th, 2026 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband John J. Burns, Jr., her parents Victor and Emily (nee Kerak) Sedlak and daughter Lisa Burns. She is survived by her loving children Donna (Bill) Glisson, Kathleen Britt, John J. Burns III and Kelly Ann Burns. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Billy (Kaye), Melanie (Anthony), Jennifer, Jessica, Kerriann (Nick), Jackie, Brittany, Johnny and Meghan as well as numerous great grandchildren.

She was born on September 15, 1933 in a small home in South Philadelphia, one of six children.  She was a devoted wife of 49 years to her husband John and loving mother to her five children, caring and providing for them in the best way she could.  In her free time she loved going to the casino, reading books and sitting outside in the quiet fresh air, especially on warm summer days.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing 9:30am Friday, May 1, 2026, at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 3500 School Lane, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026 where her Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30am.

Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery
