Alice C. Schaeffer
1943 – 2022
Alice C. Schaeffer (nee Dougherty ) age 78, of Drexel Hill, died peacefully at her home on April 11, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Alice was predeceased by her parents Joseph J. and Alice Mary (nee Bell) Dougherty and is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years Dennis R. Schaeffer, Sr., children; Dennis R. (Sue) Schaeffer, Jr. and Karen Schaeffer, grandchildren; James W. McCauley, Xavier D. Schaeffer and Patty Schaeffer
Alice was born in Philadelphia and graduated from West Catholic Girls High School, before moving to Drexel Hill which has been her home for the past 41 years. She was an active member of St. Dorothy Church and member of the St. Dorothy Choir. She also enjoyed being part of the Drexel Hill Players and St. Andrew Players.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 9am-10:15am at St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026, where her Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30am. Interment will be Private at a later date.
