Angeline Mancini
March 29, 1935 - May 4, 2023
Angeline Mancini (Papa) March 29, 1935 – May 4, 2023. Angeline left this world peacefully to be with her maker on the morning of May 4th. She is survived by her adoring husband of 61 years, Dino E. Mancini, their loving children Maria Touchton (Scott) and Dino D. Mancini (Kristen), her four caring grandchildren Joseph Touchton, Natalie Mancini, Noelle Mancini, and Nina Mancini, and her brother Joseph Papa (Marylee). She was preceded in death by her father, Luigi Papa and mother Grace Papa (Capozzoli). Angeline spoke fluent Italian (her first language) and began working in her father, Luigi Papa’s grocery store as soon as she was old enough to help out. Angeline was always a hard worker and spent many years working with her cousin at the DiPasqua furniture store as a saleswoman and interior designer. Years later, she would help her husband begin his own business from their kitchen table. Angeline spent years working side by side with Dino to grow their business while raising her two children. 35 years later, TDI Technologies is still a thriving business.
She was a doting mother and grandmother whose door was always open and always lead right to the kitchen table to eat and to chat. She always enjoyed having her kids’ friends fill the house and as the kids got older, she loved spoiling the grandkids. Angeline loved musical theater, and Italian opera, especially music by “her boys”, Il Volo. In addition to her family, Angeline was most passionate about her Catholic faith. She will be greatly missed by all of those who were lucky enough to see her infectious smile. Those who knew her well know that she is praying for us all.
Family and friends are invited to visitation at Ruffenach Funeral Home (4900 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, PA) on Wednesday, May 10 from 8:30am to 10:00am. A Catholic Mass in celebration of her life will follow at 10:30am at Saint Dorothy’s Church (4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill).
