Peg (much loved Wife, Mom, Nana, great-Nana, and Aunt) is survived by her children: Bud (Mary) Corey, Sue (Lou) Pedante, Joe Corey, Peg (Rich) Majka, Mary Kay Stern, Jerry McLaughlin, Barb Roznowski, and Nancy Groux; Her Grandchildren: Laurie (Shane) Sallie, Damon Corey, Shawn (Kelly) Corey, Ryan (Meghan) Corey, Bethany (Tahir) Ekin, Joe (Debbie) Pedante, Matt (Amber) Pedante, Jenny (John) Saible, Becca Stern, Brooke (Stefan/Beck) Beck; Her Great-Grandchildren; Dale Sallie, Samantha Sallie, Erin Corey, Max Corey, Reid Corey, Kate Corey, Demir Ekin, Jacob Pedante, Liv Saible, and our latest addition Ashlynn Beck. Peg would often sit in amazement at family gatherings looking about and commenting to those around her with true pride: “I was an only child… and I started all of this”.
Peg was a registered nurse but primarily dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was a true “caregiver” always willing to lend a helping hand whenever she saw a need. Peg was one of the most forgiving people one could encounter – always seeing things from all points of view and willing to provide understanding, love, and assistance. Her family will treasure her memory always.
