Bunny Ruth Implazo

Bunny (Ruth) Implazo died peacefully on September 10, 2022. Born December 29, 1919 in Upper Darby. She moved to Springfield where she raised four children. She was predeceased by her son Michael, her grandson Michael, her son-in-laws Paul and Len and her daughter-in-law Marion. Survived by her daughters Judith Snyder, Joanne Walchak, and Jean Duda. Her grandchildren Scott (Jennifer), Billy, Trevor, Mark (Michelle), Adam (Monica), Alexandra (Drew), Nicholas  (Alyse), and Elizabeth. Great grandchildren Brianna, Trinity, Tanner, Remy, Noah, Ella, Isabel, Olivia, Krewson, Arden, Savanah, Dylan, and Sadie. Bunny worked at Strawbridges and Clothier for greater than 36 years until its closure where she continued at Hechts then Macy's where she retired. At the same time she volunteered at the White Elephant at St Francis of Assisi church. She began volunteering at Springfield hospital in 2002 until 2019.               

Bunnys Memorial Mass will be Tuesday, September 27th at 10:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi on Saxer Avenue in Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to Crozer-Keystone Hospice, 501 N. Lansdowne Ave, 2E, Drexel Hill, PA 19026 or to a charity of choice. 

To my family and friends, may you always feel me with you when the sunshine hits your face. I have treasured our time together, our laughter, and our tears. May God bless you. I will always watch over you until we meet again. With Love, Bunny
