Camellia P. Wells
1945 – 2024
Camellia P. Wells (nee Naselli) age 79, of Mount Laurel, NJ, formerly of Drexel Hill, PA died peacefully October 23, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband, the late John Patrick Wells and parents the late Nicholas Naselli and the late Camellia Naselli (nee Petrognani). She is survived by her loving children John Peter Wells and Camellia Jakominich; four grandchildren (Jake, Katie, Kristijan and Ben); one great grandchild (James) and her brother Nicholas Naselli.
Camille was born in Philadelphia in 1945. Went to St Maria Goretti high school. She spent some time working at Bell Telephone. As fate would have it, Camille met her future husband at a school dance. John and Camille married in the summer of 1965. Camille would work at Dupont Laboratories as a Secretary and her husband; John would work as a Chemist. In 1967 and 1969, they expanded their family with a son, John and a daughter, Camille.
Camille sang in Sweet Adelines for over 35 years and has met numerous people over the years who have heard her sing and been able to call her a friend. Camille also sang at St Dorothy’s for guitar mass every Sunday and many people remember singing with her at church during mass.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Monday, October 28, 2024, 9am to 10:15am at Ruffenach Funeral Home, 4900 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Her funeral mass will follow Monday, October 28, 2024, 10:30am at St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026. Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
