Cassandra Arnold Obituary

Cassandra Lynn Arnold passed away peacefully on August 25, 2021, at the age of 47. She was born in West Chester, PA, on April 17, 1974, to Donald and Teresa Butler of Oxford, PA.  She graduated from Oxford Area High School in 1992 and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Goldey-Beacom College.

Cassie married Kris P. Arnold in 1997.  She is survived by her husband; son, Corey L. Arnold (Rebecca); daughters, Kirstin J. Arnold and Katelynn P. Arnold; brother, Stephen A. Butler (Kendra); niece, Keira L. Butler; nephew, Anthony J. Butler; maternal grandmother, Joyce D. Edwards and her parents.

She was the Administrative Assistant at Beulah Baptist Church for 17 years; worked in the children’s ministries; Vacation Bible School; and served on several missions’ trips.  Cass loved Jesus and she spent her life caring for the people that He loves.  Entrusted to her care were Kris, Corey, Kirstin, and Kate, to whom she was a devoted wife and mother.  Her love for them was immeasurable and her joy multiplied when Becca joined the family.  Into them, Cass invested her time, love, and energy.

Known for her ability to acquire things at rock bottom prices, her greatest possessions were not things, but people.  Her true gift was not finding a good bargain, it was her genuine love for people. She truly saw people, took note of their needs, what they liked, what would amuse them, catalogued it all in her mind, and then found it for 25 cents.  To receive a gift from Cass, it was more than a transference of an object, you were ‘known'.

She also loved her time at the beach searching for seashells and was always on the lookout for the elusive sea turtle.  She had a love for music and enjoyed singing in church.  Cass was fun loving, had a laugh that could split the room, and was known to ‘bring the party’.  She was quick to rejoice with others and was everyone’s cheerleader.  It was not enough that something was ‘fine’, she strove to make it ‘fantastic’.

As her love for God and faith in Him grew, so did her heart for children and people in need.  Through her church, she became involved in ministering to people in places like Brazil and Kenya.  Her life’s work was people and her love for people went far beyond the walls of the home she and Kris built together.

A Visitation is scheduled for September 2, 2021 at Beulah Baptist Church, Russellville, PA, from 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m.; service to follow.
