G. Charles Patrick, Jr

Charlie Patrick, 54 years, of Colora, Md. passed away March 15, 2022 after a lengthy illness.

Born December 26, 1967 in West Grove, Pa, he was the son of Helen D. Patrick and the late Gwyn C. Patrick, Sr.

Charlie was a member of the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun, is an Eagle Scout, BSA Troop 44, Oxford, Pa and a Brotherhood member of the National Order of the Arrow, coached with the Dublin Darlington Rec Soccer and Rising Sun Little League and was a member of the FFA at Oxford Area High School.

Charlie thrived in the Grandfather role and was the best Pop Pop that Jack Patrick could of asked for, with a 2nd grandson expected August 2022.

Charlie enjoyed taking road trips with his wife Tammy Patrick and never took the same route twice.

Charlie was an avid outdoorsman and thoroughly enjoyed hunting in the mountains with his family or fishing along the Susquehanna River with his grandson and sons.

Charlie is survived by his wife Tammy, 32 yrs, sons Cody Patrick (Taylor) of Havre De Grace, Md, Dusty Patrick (Kristen) of Rising Sun, Md and grandson Jack Patrick (Pop pops little buddy) of Havre De Grace, Md.

He is also survived by his mother Helen D Patrick of Nottingham, Pa., brother Thomas Patrick (Kerry) of Rising Sun, Md, sister Donna Roten (Tommy) of Nottingham, Pa. , brother in-law Burt Wilson of Bear, De, nephew Brandon Patrick (Nicole) of Falls Church, Va., niece MacKenzie Twardus (Dalton) of Baltimore, Md., nephew Josh Patrick of Nottingham, Pa., one great nephew Chase Twardus of Baltimore, Md., and his Fur daughter Molly Jo.

In addition to his father, Charlie was preceded in death by his brother Jeffrey Patrick, Bear, De.

Viewing and Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, March 21, 2022 at Ruffenach Family Funeral Home, 224 Penn Ave, Oxford, Pa 19363,

Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, March 21, 2022 9 am until 11 am at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.  

Following the funeral service a celebration of life will held at the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun Banquet Hall, 300 Joseph Biggs Hwy, Rising Sun, Md 21911 at 1 pm.

The family requests that donations be sent to the following organizations, BSA Troop 44 – Oxford, Pa or Cecil County Animal Services.
