Dr. Choya Lynn Wilson, Ph. D. age 66 of Philadelphia, went to be with her Lord and
Savior, surrounded by her family. Choya was the oldest of five children born to Martin
and Viola.
Choya graduated from the Philadelphia High School for girls in Philadelphia. After
graduation, Choya Graduated from The Temple University in Philadelphia and obtained
her Doctorate of Education from Stanford University in California.
Following graduation from Stanford, Choya worked in the Research department of the
University.
Later moving to Milwaukee Wisconsin where she was on the professor staff of Mount
Mary University and consultant and writer at Marquette University Wisconsin.
Choya had a great love and devotion to her Lord and Savior. She was baptized in 1972 at
the Faith Tabernacle Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. E.T. Lewis.
Choya was a very avid reader of books, with the Bible being her favorite.
A private viewing of family members will be Friday September 2, 2022 followed by
intermit at the Oxford Cemetery.
A Celebration of life and Memorial service will be announced by the family at a later
time. A memorial foundation is being established for educational scholarships.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the American Red Cross blood bank in
