1930 – 2024

            Connie R. Brignola, of Wayne, PA, formerly of Havertown, died peacefully July 7, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband John J. Brignola; parents, the late John and Rose (nee Ziccardi) Cocciardi and sister Angelina DeCesaris. She is survived by son John Brignola, daughter Maria (Donald Altman) Brignola and grandchildren Adam Lee, Jacqueline (Walter Morrisette) Brignola, Jenna Brignola, and Gabe Lee.

            Connie was born in south Philadelphia where she met her husband John. They enjoyed a loving and devoted marriage for 63 years and raised their family in Havertown. Connie was an executive assistant for Wilke-Buick prior to marriage. She worked at St. Dorothy library and was home room mother while her children were in grade school. In the following years, she was the manager of several retail stores before retiring from Loehmann’s clothing store.

           As a mother and grandmother, Connie proudly participated in the children’s activities, cheering them on and encouraging them on their life journeys. Connie loved her family dearly. She was generous, kind, devoted and loved creating warm gatherings for family and friends - complete with homemade baked goods, cavatellis, bunny cakes and other treasures for all to enjoy. Always with a bright smile and upbeat energy, Connie’s heart was radiantly filled with love and joy. Connie will leave an endearing impact on all who were blessed to have known her. 

Services will be at Our Lady of the Assumption in Wayne at 10:00 AM on Friday July 19, 2024. A viewing will precede services from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Connie’s memory to the American Heart Association.
