1957 - 2026

     Donna Marie Barr, 68, of Havertown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026. 

     Donna was predeceased by her beloved father Donald F. Barr and brother Philip D. Barr. She is survived by her Mother, Joan Barr (nee Robinson); her brother Brian (late wife Anne), her sisters Karen Barr-McKinney (late husband Jack), Laurie (Francis) Mullen, Beth Anne (James) DiFabio, Kellie (Damon) Shearer, and Sister-in-Law, Carolyn Barr. She is also survived by 11 loving nieces and nephews and 7 great nieces and nephews. 

     Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Donna attended Merion Mercy Academy from kindergarten through twelfth grade, where she was a proud graduate. She continued her education at Harcum College before devoting 38 years as a paraeducator and Prevocational skills teacher at Overbrook School for the Blind, where she worked with students who were visually impaired, helping prepare them for life beyond the classroom. Donna was a woman of deep faith who loved the Lord and lived her life in service to others.

     Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Wednesday, March 4, 2026 beginning at 9:00am at Sacred Heart Church, 105 Wilson Ave, Havertown, PA, 19083 where her Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30am.
