Doris A Short

Doris A. Short, age 67 of West Grove, PA passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, November 6th.
Doris was the wife of the late Verlin A. Short, with whom she shared 41 years of marriage.

Born 1954 in Wilmington, DE, Doris was the daughter of the late Doris Denn and Reece Richardson.
Doris loved to read and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother,
grandmother, and great grandmother. All will miss the kindness and generosity Doris Anne brought to
this world.

Doris is survived by her brothers, Carl Richardson and Wade Richardson; sister, Betty Avery; daughters,
Lisa Miller, Andrea Short, her husband, Mike; Sandra Zavala, her husband, Carlos; and her son, Verlin
Short Jr., his wife, Amanda; her stepson, Bobby Tuggle, and his wife, Stacy; as well as grandchildren
Mikey Velazquez, Nathan Zavala, Sherri Lilley, Joseph Miller Jr., Riley Tuggle; and 2 great grandchildren
Damien and Mylah.

Doris was predeceased by her husband, Verlin; sisters, Carol Wright and Ruth Goodyear.
A visitation service for Doris will be held on Saturday, November 13th from 10am to 12pm at the Ruffenach
Funeral Home for friends and family to attend.
