Doris C. Snyder

Doris Carolyn Snyder went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday
morning, October 8, 2025. She had celebrated her 98th birthday in June, and was
still living at home with family assistance.
Originally from New Jersey, she and her late husband, Arthur, had a dairy
farm in the Rising Sun, Maryland area since the mid 1950’s, and were long time
members of Grace Bible Chapel. Doris is survived by her four daughters:
Deborah Jeanes with husband Stephen, Bethany Meulenberg, Melody LaPierre,
and Candace Combee with husband Peter. Doris had eighteen grandchildren,
and sixty-one great grandchildren.
She had deep love for her Lord and His Word, and was a faithful prayer
warrior for her family and other concerns. Doris treasured her time with her
family, and was well known for sharing her tasty baked goods...cookies,
pies, and pastries not just with family, but also with friends and the occasional
delivery person or postman.
Doris knew that when her last day came, she would be heaven bound....
“Rest in the arms of Jesus”
There will be a private family graveside/burial service on Wednesday
morning, October 15th. This will be followed by a memorial service held
at Grace Bible Chapel (1949 Joseph Biggs Memorial Hwy, Rising Sun, MD)
at 11:15 AM. Friends and family are welcome to attend, and the service will
be followed by a luncheon/fellowship time.

most cherished charities serving multitudes of needy children with life
