Edward McDonough Obituary

Edward N. McDonough age 79 of Oxford, PA, passed away on Tuesday March 25, 2014. Born in Kennett Square, PA he was the son of the late Joseph and Ethel Pierson McDonough. He was the husband of the late Joan Mary Weibel.

Ed grew up in Kennett Square, PA before he moved to Oxford. He worked in retail sales. Ed is a United States Veteran proudly serving his country in the Korean War in the United States Army. He was a member of the Rising Sun American Legion Post and enjoyed spending time there with his fellow comrades. He belonged to Sacred Heart Church of Oxford, PA. He liked to bowl and play cards at EOA. He also was a Bartender for many years for Franks Steak House in Oxford, PA. Ed was also a Mason in the Oxford Lodge.

Ed lived the last years of his life at Ware Presbyterian Village in Oxford, PA. He was a great friend to all who knew him and he will be missed dearly.

Ed is survived by 5 children, Ronald McDonough, Edward McDonough, Mary Mimi Peterson, Tina McDonough and Jennifer McDonough Johnson, 19 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a brother, Ronald McDonough.
