Frank Paul Raimondi Jr., age 93, died
peacefully on February 25th, 2022.
He was born in 1928
in Yonkers, New York to Margherita and Francesco
Raimondi. Frank lived most of his life in New York
and in later years, Delaware and Pennsylvania.
He served in the US Army Corp of Engineers
in Korea from 1946-1948.
Upon his return, he graduated from Catholic
University with a degree in Architecture. Frank married
his ‘Rosie’ ( nee D’Avanzo) in 1951 who predeceased
him in 2018.
Frank enjoyed a successful career at Lothrop Associates
of White Plains, NY. He was an artistic man and enjoyed
photography, woodworking, making furniture, clocks and
many home improvement projects.
Frank’s greatest joy in life was spending time with
family. His love for Rosie, his daughters and their spouses, his grandchildren and great grandchildren was first and foremost. Frank
loved telling stories about his childhood in New York
with his beloved parents, brother & sister, aunts and
cousins. We will all miss his warmth and loving presence.
Frank is survived by his sister Gloria Raimondi Lauber,
his daughters; Marguerite Raimondi Scott, Andrea Marlowe (Cliff)
Michele Raimondi ( Diane Duffus)
Katherine Wassil (Paul) his grandchildren; Elisabeth
Van Etten (Nate), Megan and Michele Wassil, and
great grandchildren; Evelyn Joy, Richard and Joseph.
Funeral services will be private. The Raimondi
family would like to extend our deep appreciation
to Frank’s Caregiver team at Quarryville Presbyterian retirement
community. Thank you also to Willow Tree Hospice for their
care and support.
