Jacob A. Holmes

Jacob A. Holmes passed away suddenly on August 12, 2024 at the age of 21. Born July 3, 2003 in West Grove Pennsylvania to David (Jodie) Holmes and Toni (Richard) Gontarz (Nee: Ashburn). Jake was one of 8 Boys surviving as a proud brother to Jeremey, David Jr, Ricky, Josh, AJ, Luke, and Hunter. In West Grove, Jacob would become a sports fanatic taking up Football and Baseball. He would go on to take his talents and love of sports into his high school career at “Avon Grove High”. After High School, Jacob would find his career as a carpenter and worked at Partition Plus. He was mechanically inclined and put his hands of gold to good use. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family and watching all his favorite sports teams the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, and Seventy Sixers. He will be remembered for his fearless and outspoken nature. He had a burning love of automobiles. The pride he took in his car was second to none. Sporting a one of a kind custom Honda Accord everywhere he went. He will also be sadly missed by his loving maternal grandmom, Cynthia Kirkendall, aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Jacobs's life Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 5-8pm at Ruffenach Family Funeral Home located at 224 Penn Ave, Oxford, PA19363.
