Jeffrey Witte Obituary

Jeffrey S. Witte

1962 – 2020

Jeffrey S. Witte age 60, of Springfield, died peacefully November 26, 2022. He is survived by siblings Sharon Victor, Karen Leach, Rick Witte, James Clark Witte and predeceased by his brother Thomas Michael Witte and his sister Margaret “Peg” Witte.

Jeff was a resident of The Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence â€‹since 1988 first living at the Cardinal Kroll Center and, since 2014, at Rolling Road House. He liked all of the Philadelphia pro sports teams. But most of all he liked our yearly Road Trip with Clark, to cities across the country where he would visit three NFL Football Stadiums.  (23 down, 9 to go). OOHH!  Don’t forget his love for Pro Wrestling, horror movies and comic books. He has hundreds.

Jeff was a simple guy who would always wait his turn, never demanding, a pleasure to be with.  However, he did learn to play the game with Clark. After visiting a NFL football stadium, we would stop at a Train Museum for Clark.  Jeff wanted to move on for the next Stadium, and after about an hour for Clark, he would come up with the phrase “that’s it!?” A phrase that was used many times!

Jeff was the 7th of seven children and was raised by wonderful Parents who raised an equally wonderful family that took take care of him.  We always took Jeff with us everywhere we went.  Friday nights, when he would come home for the weekend, Brother Clark would pick Jeff up at CKC and take him to dinner and a movie, or to a sibling’s house.  Everyone would get to share him for a weekend.

Jeff was well liked by the staffs at CKC and Rolling Road House.  They always took good care of him.  And his siblings.

Jeff will be missed by many.  He was a good guy.
