Jill Ann Ciccarelli

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jill Ann M. Ciccarelli (nee Kurpiewski), a woman of boundless love, compassion, and kindness. Jill was born on January 12, 1954, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026. Throughout her 72 years of life, she touched countless lives with her gentle spirit, warm heart, and unwavering generosity.
Jill devoted over 25 years of service to the Capital Habeas Unit of the Federal Community Defender Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She was deeply passionate about her work and cherished the colleagues who became like family. She was known for her reliability, compassion, and dedication, earning the respect and affection of everyone fortunate enough to work alongside her.
Above all else, Jill was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She treasured every moment spent with her five grandchildren, whether cheering them on at sporting events and school musicals or simply enjoying quiet afternoons together coloring, baking, and making memories. Those simple moments brought her the greatest joy. In the evenings, she found comfort in a warm cup of tea, a sweet pastry, and her favorite science fiction movies.
She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Frances (nee Jagodzinski) Kurpiewski and her brother Joseph Kurpiewski.
She is survived by her beloved husband Vincent P. Ciccarelli and her loving children Christina (Kevin) Glackin, Melissa (Jill) Ciccarelli, and Vincent D. (Kaitlyn) Ciccarelli; grandchildren Kayla, Sean, Ava, Vincent, and Victoria, who were truly the lights of her life. She is also survived by her siblings Genevieve Miller, Ronald Kurpiewski, and Bonnie Venturo
