1951 - 2024

John A. Kugler, age 73, of Springfield passed away peacefully on April 18, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his loving wife Tina Kugler (née Petyo) and daughters Emily (Brandon Wenz) and Elizabeth (Colin Bennett). Siblings Geraldine Wagner, Kathleen Maguire, and the late Mary Louise Sheehan (Jerome).

John grew up in Upper Darby, son of ­­­John Fischer Kugler and Mary Margaret Kugler (née Heaghney) He graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School and Saint Joseph’s University. 

He was an avid fan of St. Joe’s basketball, swimming for hours at the Jersey Shore and in Naples, supporting his kids at their sporting events, and spending time with his many nieces and nephews. One of his greatest joys was seeing his daughters grow and nurture their dreams, leading lives full of kindness, curiosity, and eagerness for adventure. 

Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Saint Dorothy Church (4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, 19026). There will be a Visitation on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Saint Dorothy Church followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00am.
