John Francis Walmsley

1924 - 2022

     John F. Walmsley age 98, of Spring City, PA and longtime resident of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania died peacefully September 9, 2022. Son of the late Edwin A. and Mary (nee Neumueller) Walmsley. He was predeceased by his previous wife Frances (nee Moore) Walmsley and his second wife Marion (nee Wilson) Walmsley. He is survived by his children John, Joseph and Jeanette, his grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

   John was born and raised in Holmes, Pennsylvania. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII.  He was a self-employed Mechanic specializing in appliance repair.  

     Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing  9am Thursday, September 15, 2022, at  St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026 where his Funeral Mass will follow at 10am. Interment will take place on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pennsylvania 18940. In lieu of flowers donations to the Veterans Charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
