1929 – 2024

Joseph G. Campbell age 95 of Springfield, Delaware County, died peacefully November 1, 2024 with his beloved wife at his side.

Joe was born and raised in South Philadelphia. He was a graduate of Southern High School (1946), St. Joseph College (1950), where he played baseball, and Temple University Law School (1955).  He was a Master Sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean War. After his service he entered the real estate business with his father in South Philadelphia, and opened his own Real Estate business in Drexel Hill, PA, in 1966. He was Realtor of the Year for Delaware County, PA, in 1979. Joe enjoyed playing golf and tennis with his friends and coaching Babe Ruth Baseball in Drexel Hill, PA.

In addition to his wife Anne K. (nee Gallagher) Campbell, Joe is survived by his daughter Susan (Thomas) Bell, stepson Scott (Theresa) Davis, 14 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Debbie, stepson Mark Davis, granddaughter Allison Mary Davis and his parents Joseph and Marie (nee Stanca) Campbell.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday, November 6, 2024 beginning at 9:30am at St. Kevin Church, 200 W. Sproul Road, Springfield, PA 19064 until the time of his Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Interment will follow Mass at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Saint Francis of Assisi School Fire Fund, 136 Saxer Avenue, Springfield, PA 19064.
