 1934 - 2023

     Joseph W. Feeney died suddenly at his home in Havertown Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the age of 89. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Joan (nee Gear) Feeney, grandson Patrick Hart and brother William Feeney. He is survived by his three children Frances (John) Hart, Mary (Joseph) Hartigan and Joseph F. (Beth) Feeney, 6 grandchildren; Allison Hart, Brendan Feeney, Kiki Feeney, Joseph Hartigan, James Hartigan, Bridget Grace Hartigan and  brothers  Michael (Patricia) Feeney, John (Mary) Feeney and sister in law Barbara. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends. 

     Joe was born and raised in Philadelphia and was a proud graduate of West Catholic High School, Class of 1952. After High School Joe enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and served during the Korean War. After the War he went to work for Unisys Corporation and became a manager in the shipping and receiving department. While working he attended Saint Joseph University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He was a regular at St. Dorothy’s  Daily Mass and devoted much of his time volunteering for the parish.

      Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing 9-10:30am Thursday, June 8, 2023 at the Ruffenach Funeral Home, 4900 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026. His Funeral Mass will follow at 11am at St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026. Interment will be at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.  

     In lieu of flowers donation’s in  Joe’s memory may be made to St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026.
