Josephine (Josie) Golato

1937 - 2024

Sarah Josephine (Josie) (nee Noel) Golato age 86 passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024, at Chester County Hospital, after a short illness.  Josephine was preceded in death by her husband Angelo R. Golato.

She is survived by her six children, Catherine, Angelo (Cheryl), Michael, Mark (Phyllis), David (Jolie) and John.  She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Josie was born November 21, 1937, in St. John’s Newfoundland, Canada.  She married Angelo, while he was stationed in the Air Force in 1954.  Josie was a longtime resident of Lansdowne, PA for 68 years.  She had a great love for her family, enjoyed cooking large Italian meals and playing poker on Saturday nights with the girls.
