Judy was born on January 11th, 1943. She graduated from Upper Darby High School in Upper Darby, PA in 1960. She went on to work as the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Subsistence for the US Department of Defense in Philadelphia for 10 years. In 1997 she received her Bible Diploma from Liberty Bible Institute. She also became a board-certified Mental Health Coach in 2018. Judy loved learning and called herself a lifelong learner.
Judy met the love of her life, Al, they married in 1970 and were blessed to have 2 beautiful children, Crystal and Albert. She was even happier when the family grew with grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and the many others who became family to her. Judy loved spending time with her family, she always made everyone feel so special.
In addition to being a dedicated wife and loving mother, Judy was a faithful servant to the Lord. Throughout her life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. She worked for BCM International as an administrative assistant to the Director of European Ministries, Bob Evans, and then became the Production Manager. Then she worked for Handi Vangelism Ministries International, starting REST Ministries with Linda Ingham, helping abused, addicted, and trafficked people to find the Lord and biblical restoration. Judy traveled around the world teaching at churches and other ministries. She unofficially adopted many of ‘her kids’. Judy attended church at Colwyn Baptist (Colwyn, PA) and then became a longtime member of Aldan Union Church (Aldan, PA). She volunteered her time at various groups in the church including Explorer Girls Inc. (Aldan Union Church), was a coordinator for Greifshare (Aldan Union Church) and was also the Missionary Coordinator for the Church. Also the Lost Coin (Calvary Chapel in Kensington PA). Most Recently the Lord called her to continue ministry via the internet, she started CHANGE Ministries in 2023.
When she wanted a ‘Brain Break’, Judy loved crafting. She would crochet and knit many projects like blankets, hats, and dishcloths for her family and friends. She even made enough hats and scarves to fill many boxes for the homeless in Minnesota. Another craft she did was quitting and sewing, making lots of quilts for the women's pregnancy center. Judy liked to try out and do most types of crafts, but a favorite of most people who knew Judy was her beautiful homemade cards.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at Aldan Union Church (7 E Providence Rd, Aldan, PA 19018) on December 16th, 2023. The visitation will begin at 3 pm and the Service at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Aldan Union Church Missions fund. Judy previously expressed her wishes that at her celebration of life service, bright colors be worn instead of the traditional black attire.
