"Judy"
1957 - 2022
Julia (Judy) Nicholes (Tulli), a life-long resident of Upper Darby died on December 11, 2022 at the age of 65, after a year-long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Judy is survived by her child, Ash Nicholes and son-in-law Michael Coffey. She is predeceased by her father Joseph Tulli and mother Nancy Tulli (Apalucci). Outside of her family, Judy had an extensive network of friends she considered family and is survived by them: Joanne Nichols, Barbara Shust, Carol Robinson, Patricia Mitchell, Peggy Ziegler, Maria Strobel, Roe Wells, Bunny Basile, Judy Murrin, Sandra Datil, Deborah Tait, Marybeth Wells and Rose Wells.
Judy was born September 13, 1957 in Philadelphia, PA to Joseph Tulli and Nancy Apalucci. She was their only child. She graduated from Upper Darby High School in 1975 and worked in the medical field her entire life. She worked at Lankenau Hospital after high school and then became an office manager for over 30 years. She married Edward Nicholes in 1985 and gave birth to Ashley (Ash) Nicholes in 1987. Judy spent the next 18 years (and then some) giving everything she possibly could into raising Ash. She was known as a devoted Mother and a fierce friend. She enjoyed going to the beach, traveling, shopping, The X-Files, and antiquing. However, she enjoyed those activities much more with people around her. She made friends wherever she went and would do anything for her friends and family. She will be greatly missed.
