Kathleen Morris

July 21, 1940 - April 5, 2025

  Kathleen “Kathy” Morris (nee Grispon), age 84, of Eagles Mere, died peacefully Saturday, April 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Arthur Morris; children Kathy (the late Tom) Paoletti, Michael Morris, and Jeffrey (Dyanne) Morris. Sixgrandchildren, Paige, Domenic, Brooke, Jeffrey, Dante and Justin Kathy is also survived by her siblings John Grispon, Maria Dougherty, Fran Lolio, and Agnes Iacono. She is predeceased by her siblings Betty Fanelli and Tommy Grispon; and son-in-law Tom Paoletti. 

   Kathleen was born in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. She attended grade school at The Immaculate Conception, where she met her future husband, Arthur, while in the 7th grade. She later graduated from Little Flower High School.

Throughout their early years, Kathleen and Arthur played a special role in the lives of the Grispon siblings, regularly caring for them and organizing trips to the beach, the boardwalk, movies, and other fun outings—all while maintaining full-time jobs at Bell Telephone, Kelly Girls, and the Five and Ten. After her children were raised, Kathy worked for Dr. Bianchi as an office manager for 25 years.

Kathleen and Arthur were married on September 30, 1961, at the age of 21. They eventually settled in Drexel Hill, Delaware County, where they became active members of Saint Dorothy’s parish. Their marriage was a beautiful and enduring one, filled with love and pride, lasting 63 wonderful years. Kathy lived a life filled with joy and laughter, taking great pride in her family.

       Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday, April 10, 2025, beginning at 9 am to 10:45 am at St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026 where her Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00am. Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery
