Lenore M. McCarry

1934 – 2026

   Lenore M. McCarry (nee Wishing) age 91, of Lansdowne died peacefully at her home May 15th, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband James J. McCarry. She is survived by her four children James (Maureen) McCarry, Maureen (Francis) Phillips, Colleen (Louis) Calabrese and Thomas McCarry. She is also survived by her sister Patricia Porter, brother Michael Wishing, brother in law Gerald McCarry and sister in law Sr. Loretta McCarry, SSJ., 11 grandchildren and  13 great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her brother Eugene Wishing and sister Peggy Staats 

    Lenore was born in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania and moved to Philadelphia and then 63 years in her wonderful home in Lansdowne, PA. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, reading and gardening. What she cherished most was spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

         Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation 10am Friday, May 22, 2026 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3422 Dennison Avenue (@ Burmont Road), Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026 where her Funeral Mass will follow at 11am.
