Marie Patricia "Pat"DiNunzio

1933 – 2023 

     Marie Patricia “Pat” DiNunzio (nee O’Hara) age 90, of Drexel Hill died peacefully September 15, 2023. Predeceased by her parents the late George and Marie (nee Egan) O’Hara and her beloved husband Nicholas DiNunzio. Survived by children Marie (Robert) Harper, Nick (Shiela) DiNunzio, Jerry (Stephanie) DiNunzio, Jimmy (Melissa) DiNunzio, Paul (Andrea) DiNunzio, Veronica (Gene) Archambault, Dave (Julie) DiNunzio and brother Jerry (Carol) O’Hara. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren Nicole (Rich), Amelia (Valante), Angela (Vinny), Christina (Chris), Anita, Theresa, Asa, Jordan, Tyler, Alex, Nicholas, Natalie, Paul Jr. (Danielle), Andrew, Nina, Vincent (Kayla), Victoria (Mike), Dominic, Robby, Dannie (Vinny), Alexa (Gustavo), Emma (Luke), Joey and ten great grandchildren Isabella, Matthew, Brayden, Rylee, Nicholas, Olivia, Brayden, Vera, Hazel, and Camille. Predeceased by brothers James O’Hara, Jack O’Hara.

   She was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Kensington. She graduated 8th grade from Visitation BVM Catholic grade school and from Hallahan Catholic Girls High School in 1950. In 1951 at the age of 18 she married her beloved Nick. After countless prayers and novenas to the Blessed Mother, her dreams of becoming a mom finally came true in 1957. After 67 years of marriage, 7 children, 23 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren her prayers were answered. She loved sports of all kind but especially her Phillies. Her second love next to her children were her 3 dogs Elmo, Carmen, and Lizzie. 

   Mom was the glue that held our family together and she will be greatly missed by all. 

         Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing 9-10:15am Friday, September 22, 2023 at the Ruffenach Funeral Home, 4900 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30am at St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026 . Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
