Mark David Santangelo

Mark David Santangelo, age 60 of Oxford, PA passed away on Saturday,
July 16, 2022. Son of John and Joan (Mollenhauer) Santangelo, he was
born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Lansdowne, PA. Mark is survived
by his wife of 28 years Bethann (Brownback) Santangelo, sons: Mark
Matthew and Ryan Jeffrey, daughter: Natalie Elizabeth, sisters: Teresa
Kozempel, and Barbara Bunda (Cyril), brothers: Paul (Tina), Anthony
(Jennifer), and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by
his sister, the late Mary Santangelo, and his brothers, the late John

(Janice) Santangelo and the late Sergeant Charles Robert Santangelo
U.S.M.C.

Mark and his family have resided in Oxford, PA for the past 21 years. He
was a graduate of Lansdowne-Aldan High School where he was a
fantastic athlete in all sports especially in soccer where he excelled as a
goalkeeper. Mark is often referred to as “The Natural,” due to his
phenomenal athletic ability in all sports. Mark received his 20-year
merit pin of retirement from the International Union of Operator
Engineers Local 542. Previously he worked as a Marine Machinist at the
Philadelphia Naval Shipyard where he received many medals and
accreditations.

Mark was a devoted family man to his wife, children, brothers, sisters,
and parents. Mark coached his sons in sports and was always there to
support and lend a helping hand to his daughter’s dance passion,
always with a smile. His wife and children will always have him in their

hearts because of his loving dedication and the profound place that he
held in all their lives.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 10:00-10:45

AM with a mass following at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church,
203 Church Road, Oxford, PA. Private luncheon to follow at Wyncote
Golf Course, The Rose and Thistle Room, 50 Wyncote Drive, Oxford,
PA—Immediate and extended family only. In Lieu of flowers, gifts to
support the current and future educational needs of Mark’s daughter
