Martin G. Crothers, Sr., age 83, of Drexel Hill, died peacefully on November 25, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte Crothers (née Gillin), his son, Joseph Crothers, his brother, William, and his parents, the late William and Catherine (née Malloy) Crothers. He is survived by his loving sons, Martin G. Crothers, Jr. (Louise) and Steven Crothers (Diana); his grandchildren, Colin, Meghan, Finnegan, and Jameson; and his brother, John.

Born in Philadelphia, Martin briefly attended West Philadelphia Catholic High School for Boys and John Bartram High School before serving his country as a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a machinist and a dedicated employee of ITE/L3 until he retired to care for his wife.

Martin was known for his honesty, quick wit that brought smiles to those around him, and a kind heart that touched everyone he met. His integrity, humor, and compassion left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, December 2, 2024, beginning at 9:30 AM at St. Bernadette of Lourdes Church, 1035 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026, where his Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
