Michael A. Zarallo

Michael Zarallo “Uncle Mike” or “Mikey Z”, 64, of Philadelphia, passed away on January 21st, 2025, after a long fight against various medical conditions ultimately ending with lung cancer.

Michael was born on May 4th, 1960 to Dorothy Zarallo and Benjamin Zarallo of Philadelphia. Michael spent most of his work at the Navy Yard, as Carpenter by trade, and Food Service at Local Steak Shops including but not limited to Oregon Steaks. 

In 1990, Michael met Helene at an Italian Cafe as a guest at her place of work. Michael and Helene went on to have one daughter, Michelle, and Step-father to Christen.

Michael spent his time as a collector of trains and sports memorabilia, as a HUGE Philadelphia sports fan, listening to Classic Rock, and lover of  the Mummers Parade specifically the Mad Hatters.

Michael was predeceased by Benjamin Zarallo (father), Dorothy Zarallo (mother), and William Zarallo (older brother). Michael is survived by Diane Lombardi. (older sister).

Services will be held at City Life Philly Church on 3301 S 20th Street on Tuesday January 28th 10:30am.
