Nicholas Witiak Obituary

Nicholas "Nick” Witiak, 65, of Oxford, Pennsylvania, was called home to the Lord on July 27th, 2026.
Born on April 23rd, 1961, he was the son of the late Nicholas JR. and Mary Theresa (Long) Witiak.
Growing up in Penn Pines, Delaware County, he graduated from Upper Darby High School then furthered his education to become an Aircraft Technician at The Boeing
Company. Nick loved learning about God and his Catholic Faith and inspired others to do the same. He most enjoyed spending his time with his family; from camping or driving,
to fixing something in the garage.
Ever since he was young, Nick loved the outdoors. Camping trips with the Boy Scouts turned into family camping trips at Raystown Lake. He also loved amusement parks,
especially roller coasters. One of his final outings was a family trip to Knoebels Amusement Park.
He was a “foodie” and enjoyed eating all kinds of cuisine, especially Indian, and whatever his daughters “Chef Alexis” and “Ana the Baker” whipped up.
Nick was the epitome of the phrase, “the only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys,” and loved technology. More specifically, he enjoyed playing with his
Sea-Doo jet boat, jet ski, recumbent electric bike, pickup trucks, motorcycles/ATVs, and taking his two sons to the gun range.
Nick loved music even though he only remembered one line of every song. Growing up, he played the trumpet and would later play Taps on Memorial Day when his health
allowed. One of his greatest attributes was being very quick witted and always made people laugh.
He is survived by his wife Mary Ann, his brother Dave, and his 4 children Alexis, Nicholas, Anastasia, and Lucas.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mercy Ships.
