1950 - 2023

We are sad to announce the passing of our mom, Patricia A. Blaisdell (nee Hutton), 72 of Upper Darby. Patricia passed away peacefully but not before sharing her motherly embrace toward her three children. 

Predeceased by her husband Harley B. Blaisdell, parents William and Florence Hutton, sister Mary Beth Hopson (nee Hutton), and brothers Gerry Hutton and Stephen Hutton. 

Survived by her children Harley Blaisdell, Melissa (John) Winters, and Amy (Adam) Palmowski, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Also survived by her brothers Bill (Eileen) Hutton, Jim (Joan) Hutton, Joe (Nancy) Hutton, and sister Barb (Jim) Gray.  

Patsy, as she is fondly remembered, was known for her amazing baking and comfort style meals. You could always catch her foot tapping and finger snapping to the beat of sock hopping sixties and Motown music. Patsy was a very proud mom and exceptionally loving mom-mom. She had an undeniable love for her family, friends, and neighbors. Patsy’s laugh was infectious and she brought joy to so many. You could catch her gathered around the dining room table playing pinochle with friends and family, sipping on coffee and catching up, or making crafts with her grandchildren. Patsy loved trips to the beach and you could always count on detailed commentary while people watching along the Cape May Boardwalk. She wore many hats, and will be remembered forever as Mom, Mom-Mom, G-mom and Aunt Pat.
