Patricia Agnes Magee (nee McMahon), age 81, of Springfield, died peacefully, November 3, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Michael and Frances Marie (nee Best) McMahon, and siblings Anna, George, John, Joseph, and Francis McMahon. She is survived by three children Jim (Jeannie) Magee, Fran (Donna) Magee, Cathy (Mike) Clark, and seven grandchildren Lauren, Allison, Matt, Seamus, Erin, Patrick and Connor.
She was born in Philadelphia and raised in Drexel Hill. Patricia was a long-term parishioner of St. Dorothy Church in Drexel Hill and a former parishioner of St. Eugene Church in Primos. She was in the first 8th grade graduation class of St. Dorothy School in 1955 and then was a graduate of the class of 1959 from Notre Dame Catholic Girls High School in Moylan. Patricia worked for many years at AT&T in Wayne.
Patricia was a dedicated mom and grandmom who liked nothing better than attending all her grandchildren's activities. Whether it was sporting events, plays or concerts she always adjusted her plans so she could attend. Patricia was an avid reader, a cruciverbalist and always enjoyed traveling with family. She loved relaxing near the water, whether at a pool or on a beach down the shore or elsewhere. Patricia enjoyed her retirement when she moved to Golf View Estates and developed many close friendships with her neighbors. She cherished her close relationships with her many nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed her relationships with her grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday (November 10, 2023) 6-8pm at the Ruffenach Funeral Home, 4900 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026. Her Funeral Mass will be Saturday (November 11, 2023) at St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026 at 10am. Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA 19064. Luncheon to follow at Charlotte’s Restaurant, 3207 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073
In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
