Roxanne McCarter

Roxanne McCarter, 71, passed away on June 2, 2024, peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.  Roxanne was born on December 27th, 1952, in Coatesville, PA where she spent her formative years. She went on to attend Delaware Community College and later became the CFO at Kennetex. Throughout her career, she was known for her hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others.
More than anything, Roxanne was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, sharing stories, and was always ready for a good laugh. 
In her free time, she enjoyed reading, and relaxing on her back porch.
Roxanne is survived by her two sons: Robert (Lorraine) Anderson of Downingtown, PA and Richard (Kristin) Anderson of Smyrna, DE, grandchildren, Nathan, Sarah, Lindsay, James, and Leah, siblings Ruth (Doug) Anderson, Clyde “Richie” McCarter, Robin (Chuck) Whiteman, beloved niece Beth (Stacey) Bates, as well as other loved nieces, and nephew. Preceding her in death were long term partner Bob Shoff and father, Clyde “Sonny” McCarter. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
Viewing will  take place at Ruffenach Family Funeral Home on Saturday  June 8, 2024 from 10 to 11am with a Brief Service to follow. A private burial service will be held for family and close friends.
