Sally Ann Breslin(nee Ripp), November 15, 2022, Age 84 of Havertown. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, John “Jack” W. Breslin, her parents Charles and Alice Ripp(nee O’Neill) and brother Joseph. She is survived by her five children Sallyann (Joseph) Lynch, John W. (Barbara) Breslin Jr., Timothy Breslin, Mary(Thomas) King,  Stephen(Melissa) Breslin and 14 grandchildren. 

Sally Ann was born in Philadelphia and grew up in West Philadelphia.  She graduated from West Catholic School for Girls in 1957.  Just like many a 1950s teenage girl in Philadelphia, she loved American Bandstand and Elvis.

Her medical career field would begin the following year at Misercordia Hospital.   She worked as a phlebotomist, lab technician, and lab supervisor at Misercordia, Fitzgerald Mercy, and Lankenau Hospitals until she retired in 2013.

Sally married the love of her life Jack in 1961.  In 1968, they moved to Havertown to raise their five children. Sally was an active member and Eucharistic minister of St. Pius X Parish for 54 years.

As the kids got older, Sally and Jack began to spend more time traveling.  They enjoyed spending several weeks of the winter in Florida to catch up with family and friends.  Their prime travel destination was the Jersey Shore.  They enjoyed many a weekend riding in their boat near Stone Harbor.  They eventually bought a house in Ocean City and enjoyed many fun-filled weekends with their grandchildren and extended family and friends. 

Sally enjoyed gardening and growing vegetables.  In addition, she loved researching genealogy.

Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation from 9-10 am on Monday November 21st at St. Pius X Church, 204 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA, 19008 where her Funeral Mass will follow. The Mass will be live-streamed on http://www.vimeo.com/spxbroomall                                        Interment at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
