Samuel Howard Reyburn

Reyburn, 89, of Oxford, Pa., died December 30, 2021. A lifetime resident of Upper Oxford Township, he graduated from Oxford High School in 1950. He was retired from the U.S. Post Office. He served on the Upper Oxford Township planning commission for more than 40 years; was a Mason with the Skerrett Lodge, No. 343, for 56 years; and was a member of Russellville Grange, No. 91, for 75 years. The Pennsylvania State Grange recognized the Samuel Reyburn family as Family of the Year in 2010. The son of the late Jordan M. and Alice M. (Griffith) Reyburn, Samuel is survived by his wife of 50 years, Frances K. (Stauffer) Reyburn; son Howard S. Reyburn and his wife, Sandra, of Oxford; son Stanley J. Reyburn and his wife, Jessica, of Oxford; daughter Sara Beth A.R. Kohut and her husband, Edward, of Lincoln University; 12 grandchildren; and sisters Mary Bishop, Sylvia Reyburn, and Margaret Lauer, all of Oxford. He was predeceased by siblings Sarah Reyburn, Grace Gilbert, and Jordan M. Reyburn, II. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at the Oxford Cemetery.
