Stella Mae Lephew was born on August 25, 1937. She died peacefully with her family by her side at the Age of 86 on August 26, 2023. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed going to yard sales, going out to breakfast with friends and/or family, and shopping. She enjoyed helping to raise her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Everyone was one of her BABIES. She was known as Mom or Mommom to everyone she met. She was the mortar that held our lives and families together. She was the sincerest and giving person I will ever know. “You may think your light is small, but it can make a huge difference in other people’s lives.” This was my mother. She was that light.
Stella was proceeded in death by her parents Rosco and Clyde Taylor from NC. Husband Darrell Lephew. Brothers Darrell Taylor and Earl Taylor. Sister Doris Miller and son James Lephew Sr.
She is survived by son Harold Lephew (Judy), daughter Sheila Garrison (Robert Sr), and daughter in law Janet. Sisters Mary Miller, Linda Weaver (Carlos) and sister-in-law Sandy Taylor. 9 Grandchildren; Robert Garrison Jr, Jessica Lephew, Richard Garrison (Christine), Steven Miller (Laurie), Jon Miller, Joanna Bowers (Colin), Michael Lephew (Janet), James Lephew Jr, and Patrick Garrison (Jen). As well as 10 great grandchildren.
