1954 - 2026

   Susan Farthing (nee Mullin) age 71, of Swarthmore, died peacefully, May 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Proceeded in death by her parents the late Madeline "Dolly" and Lawrence Mullin, and her sister AnneMarie Serpico. She is survived by her loving husband Mark Farthing; children Alicia (Stephen) Naumowich, Dr. Mark (Amy) Farthing, Jr., Kerrie (Michael) Kornafel, and Kelly Farthing; her grandchildren Alexa, Nikki, Brody, James, Matthew, Lucas, and Madeline; her brothers Larry Mullin, Thomas (Sarah) Mullin, and her sister Eileen (Joseph) Hallinan. Also survived by Michael (Patricia) Farthing, Josephine Farthing, Roy Farthing, John (Beth) McAteer and many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

    Susan enjoyed spending time at the casino, family trips to Florida, trips to Ocean City, NJ, and her Swarthmorewood friends. Her greatest joy was her 4 children and 7 grandchildren. She dedicated her life to special needs daughter, Kelly.

    Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Saturday, May 16, 2026 beginning at 9:15AM at Saint John Chrysostom Catholic Church, 617 S. Providence Road, Wallingford, PA 19086 where her Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30AM. 

   In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Delaware County Down Syndrome interest group in Susan's memory.
