Tommy

Thomas A. Carr, Jr., 46, of Oxford, PA, died unexpectedly on Sunday, 8/1. Born on January, 27th 1975, in Coatesville, PA, Tommy was the son of Thomas A. Carr, Sr., and Cindy Melrath Carr.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Christine Atwood Carr and 2 daughters, Carrie Anne Carr and Carley Marie Carr; his younger siblings, Cicely Carr, Dirk Carr and Chelsea Hughes (May); and many nieces and nephews.

Tommy was an OAHS class of 1994 graduate. Tommy loved to ride and work on his Harley and was a dedicated Philadelphia sports fan. Go EAGLES!

Everyone knew Tommy. He was loud, obnoxious and the most blunt person you’d ever meet. But his loyalty was unlike any other and once you became his friend, you were his friend for life.

Tommy is preceded in death by his “Nanny” Carrie Hunter, and “Mom Mom” Anne Weigel, along with many other friends and loved ones.

A visitation service will be held on Sunday, August 8th from 2-4 at Ruffenachs Family Funeral Home, for friends and family to attend.
