Timothy N. Cotter
1943 – 2023
Timothy N. Cotter, age 80 of Haverford Township, died peacefully Saturday April 29, 2023. He is survived by his beloved wife Helen (nee Reid) Cotter, three children Vanessa (Jack) Waters, Erick (Meg) Cotter and Brendan (Amy) Cotter, ten grandchildren; Jackson, Colton and Amelia Waters, Abigail, Emma, Sophia and Ethan Cotter, Nolan, Ian and Reagan Cotter, sisters Debbie Cotter and Betsy Gibson and a brother Richard “Jesse” Cotter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family and good friends.
Timothy was born in Stamford, Connecticut on March 14, 1943. He moved to Michigan around age 5 and finally settled in Pennsylvania for high school. He graduated from Monsignor Bonner in 1961. Tim served in the United States Air Force after high school. He married Helen in August 1968. He worked for many years as a service technician for Sears before retiring to do what he enjoyed most, spending time with his family and friends and riding his Silver Wing.
Relatives and friends are invited to aVisitation with his family 11am Thursday, May 11th, 2023 at the Ruffenach Funeral Home, 4900 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026, where his Funeral Service will follow 12 Noon
Burial will take place privately at Washington Crossing National Cemetery
