Verlin A. Short

Verlin A. Short, age 65 of West Grove, PA passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, August 14th.  Verlin was the husband of Doris A. Short, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage.

Born 1956 in Jefferson, NC, Verlin was the son of the late Sinda Walker and Walter Short.

Verlin was an avid guitar player and a great auto mechanic. He loved music, live bands, cook outs, and spending time with his family. Above all, Verlin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. All will miss the kindness and generosity Verlin brought to this world.

In addition to his wife, Doris, Verlin is survived by his brothers, James (Eddie) Dugger, Billy Dugger, Pete West Jr.; sister Patricia Short; daughters, Lisa Miller, Andrea Short, her husband, Mike; Sandra Zavala, her husband, Carlos; and his sons, Verlin Short Jr., his wife, Amanda; Bobby Tuggle, and his wife, Stacy; as well as grandchildren Mikey Velazquez, Nathan Zavala, Sherri Lilley, Joseph Miller Jr., Riley Tuggle; and 2 great grandchildren Damien and Mylah. 

Verlin was predeceased by his sisters, Regina (Tuni) Walsh; Mary (Cookie) Duvall; brothers, Robert Short and William Short. 

A visitation service for Verlin will be held on Saturday, August 21 from 10am to 12pm at Ruffenach  Funeral Home for friends and family to attend.
