Vernon R. McAllister

Vernon McAllister, 67, of Rising Sun, MD, passed way at his home on September 17, 2025. 

Vernon is survived by his mother, Beulah Earhart of Rising Sun, MD and his son, Bryant McAllister of East Nottingham. Vernon is also survived by 5 brothers, Howard, John, Steve (Deanna), Robert, and Milton (Carol); as well as many cousins, aunts, and nieces and nephews. 

Vernon was pre deceased by his father, the late Howard T. McAllister Sr.

Vernon was born May 10, 1958. He spent most of his life living in Oxford, PA. If you knew Vernon, you knew he was a “one of a kind” man. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, fishing, riding motorcycles, and he always looked forward to attending the annual Crab Feast at the American Legion in Rising Sun Md. Vernon was employed by Earthgro, of Toughkenamon PA for 25 years. Vernon will be greatly missed by family and friends.
